Tuesday… St. Paul’s Cathedral

A day with the boys and I met Rebecca at the Lookout Discovery Centre but not to visit today.  We enjoyed the large play areas, pizza for lunch and a walk and hide and seek games (extra).

A very quick turnaround once I was home to get up to London to see a light show at the Cathedral.  I asked our dear friends J & S if they would like to join us.  Planning to meet them there but actually bumping into them on the tube at Southfields.  We spent an hour walking around the cathedral, sitting for a while enjoying the music that accompanied the show.  We then went for dinner at The Ivy Asia just opposite the cathedral.  Although I booked, it was incredibly busy and we had to wait nearly half hour for our table which made for a very late night… on a school night.  A lovely evening though.  I was also delighted, if very surprised, to receive a save the date for J&S middle son’s wedding next year.  The surprise was I knew it was going to be in Spain and would be quite a small occasion so really wasn’t expecting an invite…. But you are one of the family she said.  Awww… I was very touched.
