Power to the People

Today we took a walk through Morell Sanctuary, keeping to the wide level path to be kind to knees and hips.  We popped out onto the power line access road where we used to walk the dog.  A contrast to the heavily forested sanctuary, but I loved the look of the power lines stretching straight over us and the meandering gravel road at our feet.  I did want to share a blip from the forest - the second photo is (I believe) Lungwort lichen attached to a very old tree.
