Catching the morning glow! 7:12am

I’ve been awake for a couple of hours.
Had my usual cuppa from my flask of tea around 5:30am.
Then I was entranced lying in bed listening to a blackbird singing outside.
It is so utterly beautiful and says that Spring is finally here.
Watched the sky as the dawn increased, having opened the blind earlier.
The sun finally cresting the horizon and its fractured rays appearing through the trees opposite.
It is now 7:28 and I have been up to the loft bedroom and taken a photo of the morning glow where the sun was beginning to catch the windows and roofs opposite as it climbed steadily higher.
Moments of calm as February begins to slip away……
