Catalpa bignonioides

This is one of the eldiest trees in Bruges situated in the Astridparc. The tree itself is 175 years old and supported by an iron construction. The stem is hollow but the upper twigs still beares leaves in spring. Yes and the name of the tree is " Green Trumpet tree".
