"All That Is Left"...

...Of the gantry or davit which my family used to hoist their boat onto for many years..One stormy night, the boats hoisted up there were all destroyed including my family's..and so, in those days - they never bothered to get another boat as the davit was also destroyed...

...This is a scene of the Beach of my Childhood, a wonderful little beach, and in the first week of November - we used to celebrate Guy Fawkes night with the many fireworks the children used to have then..we could let them off ourselves, and never do I remember having any injuries..I also remember letting off Catherine wheels in our back yard, and many others - it was so much fun for my brothers I recall..

...But here - we see the Pied Cormorants sitting on what is left now of a time past...there were so many of them quite at home along the cliff side there..they've been roosting there for so many years as I remember them so many years ago..
