Peel Park

This was the view from Peel Park in Kirkintilloch this evening . I went to Kirkintilloch to look at an exhibition of photographs  from the Scottish Photographic Circle in the Auld Kirk Museum. The photos were a mixed bunch. The labels gave nothing but the title and photographer's name. Out of all the photographers there was only one woman. It's an old club founded in 1907. I hoped for more from their website but it's badly out of date. Clearly a bit of a boys club, invitation only. I don't think I'll be invited any time soon. I did stumble over the website on the Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year Competition, well worth a look if you like landscapes. https://slpoty.co.uk/
