The Egret Exception Meets Abstract Thursday!

I know it is a Great Egret only because, thanks to my observant friend, Jane,  I saw it standing in the creek for a few minutes before it took the short low flight that resulted in this quite abstract photo.  The shots that I got as it was standing in the creek were not portrait quality, because I was shooting through trees and vines, but I think I could see enough to differentiate it from similar birds. So, I believe that I have satisfied the Egret Exception and met the Abstract  Thursday challenge of "Organic Abstract"!  Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting.....
