Found things

At the weekend I was clearing the pond a bit - chopping down old papyrus and bulrushes and clearing out some pond plants to make space for frogs. Somewhere in the middle I lost my secateurs - the good expensive ones, of course - and presumed I had dropped them in the pond.

A hand and metal detector search did not reveal them, so I gave up. Today, doing a bit of tidying as a break from work, I found them under a heap of weeds.
