Breckon

A fairly calm day, mostly sunny but there was the odd shower, and a heavy shower over teatime.  Clear skies tonight. 

An early start at 5am 7am, I headed out with Cliffy on a bulk waste removal to Unst.  We headed through Yell on our way back down, sorting litter bins.  After lunch, it was waste oil collections around Lerwick.  Chores done around the house after work.  Headed out walkies with Sammy this evening, bumped into Ruth, we walked for a while together.  Big Brian and Madeline popped by for a cuppa.  Feet up before bed. 

It would have been a perfect day out for exploring, but being at work, no such luck, thankfully time for a quick snap here and there.  This is a part of Shetland I don't know that well, I really must come back in the summer and have a proper look.  Along with old croft buildings, there's an old haa, Viking houses, a broch and a beautiful beach.  This is the old Breckon croft house, Breckon, Yell.
