River of Flowers

Thursday: HELLEBORES ++

Yesterday, whilst I was walking about in the garden, I noticed that my very old Rosemary plant looks rather dead :-(( Think it was this one -
https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/4047373 - but the dead looking one may still surprise me and start growing when the weather warms up! … BUT … more often than not I have a PLAN B … and I found a terra cotta pot with 6 very healthy cuttings taken last year, so all is not lost!

Weather today was a mix of sunshine, showers and chilly southwesterly wind.

Today’s BLIP of white Hellebore and a maroon one, with the pale pink and white comfrey and the pot of Rosemary cuttings.

This afternoon we watched a few episodes of “Winterwatch in Wales” on iPlayer - https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m0028cjz - presented by Iolo Williams.

IN EXTRAS - there’s a photo of the deep bed behind the garage which currently has: KALE “Red Russian”, leeks, strawberry plants, an unknown Kale and the “mother plant” of the Babbington Leeks which are a perennial leek which produces “bulbils” which grow to produce more leeks :-)
