Half Way
Roughly.
The hamlet of Brynglas where there is a passing loop for the trains on our single track line. Another guarding turn, covering for someone who's unwell. Another quiet trip with few passengers although the earlier train, seen here on it's way back, was well loaded. We did pick up a few people on our way up the line. When a couple joined us in the sunshine at Rhydyronen I joked that Abergynolwyn, five miles up the valley, was in a different climatic zone. It turned out to be prophetic as we arrived there along with a series of heavy showers. This is not so unusual, Tywyn, on the coast, is often sunny when there is rain inland.
After the trip, I walked Meg at Rhydyronen where she also had a run in the ball field. Tonight there were only a few of us at the community session at pottery but I had a rather nice haul of finished pieces to collect :-) After weighing and paying I spent the rest of the evening glazing some more pieces. These are the last of a winter production line. I will be returning to the wheel soon, hoping to hone my skills but am also away for a while the coming month when I have several selling opportunities. If I sell enough, I'll have a reason to make more!!
