A tricky bit

Late this afternoon I had a 40 minute walk along the lower pipeline, up the root-exposed track to the Upper Pipeline, and back home. Hear lots of Tui, but saw not even a loose feather of one.

I paused on the way up to take the photo of a segment of the track. It is almost straight up with footholds allowing one to climb up. In places I need to use a hand to help. Being very dry at present it is manageable when taking care.
