The Bottlenose Dolphins were fooling about, and entertaining the tourists, near the North Kessock lifeboat station this evening. I was cycling in to Inverness for some shopping, and spotted them from the Kessock Bridge. Suspect the tourists had just gathered to see the lifeboat crew out and about doing some training. The dolphins appearance was a bonus.
Fairly crappy snap at too slow a shutter speed. Very much a grab shot, that's been heavily cropped, and had a strong dose of sharpening applied.
Did a load of weeding in the garden. Also cycled to Fortrose/Rosemarkie early this morning, to lend a wetsuit to one of the participants of a kayak lifeguard training course - mainly aimed at looking after open water swimmers. Perhaps I should have attended, though the class was a fair size without adding any more.
