Mystery Picture of the Day!

Shared by a colleague from the WCC. This is the formwork for a (future) bench for the National Gallery. It will be 4.5m long and made with crushed stone salvaged from the gallery and using low carbon concrete. It (and a 2nd one) will be located in the courtyard in the new entrance area. Exciting times.
Today I met up with the St Lawrence's Reading Support Group Team for a coffee at The Queen's Head to sort out the rota for the 2nd half of term (I am only a reserve helper). Whilst out and about I picked up a prescription from the chemist, dropped off a couple of cushions and a clock at the charity shop and picked up some old coffee grounds from  Ildikos (the chocolatier and coffee shop, whose lease is ending but will now hopefully be extended). Home and a bit of sorting and paperwork and then off to dinner with Penny and Pete. Pete had made an excellent bolognaise sauce. I bought along some pasta, raspberries, blueberries and ice cream. We had a lovely evening. I hope that Ottie behaves herself and that the have a better night.
