Hellebores

Of the several Hellebores in our garden this is one of my favourites.

Its a pity you have to lay down on the ground to xee the flowers at their best.
But given the reward its a minor inconvenience.

Baker’s Dozen was at my house this morning. The topic was Childhood then and now. It was interesting to compare our own childhood in the 1940s and 50s with that of our grandchildren.
