Seeing the past

I was speaking tonight at an event in the Moving Image Archive in Glasgow's Kelvin Hall which was part of Scotland's current "Gaelic Week" and which showcased some of the material from the Cinema Sgire project I directed not far off 50 years ago.  

It brought back a lot of memories including recording at the 1979 Mod Nan Eileen  these two girls (as they were then) singing  (flawlessly) my favourite Gaelic song. An Ataireachd Art.  My extra pictures have one or two other shots from the excellent compilation that the Archive had put together including me , a long time ago and one from Cathleen of me at the event…!

There were about 70 people there and BBC Scotland Online  also did a nice feature on it,.
