Redshanks On The Beach

We had a glorious day at Herne Bay. The weather was warm and the sun shone all day. 

I was pleased to spot a large group of these lovely redshanks on the beach, preening, chatting and feeding. Amongst the group were also a few turnstones (a common sight at Herne Bay).
