The Toon

I needed a book to read and spotted Kevin Keegan’s autobiography at the library and thought why not.

I was a massive Newcastle United fan as a kid which was peak Keegan time as manager and the time where we almost won the league. (Of course not forgetting his ‘I’d love it’ rant!).

I really enjoyed it even his playing career stories which I was too young to watch. Obviously his time as manager of Newcastle in the 90’s brought back a lot of memories of player names I’d long forgotten but used to be everything to me as a 9-13 year old kid.

A good read for a football fan.
