It was great to meet up with Diane today after two weeks. We are still experiencing cooler days, which is always a treat. I loved watching this large barge being towed by a tug. G jumped up and took the picture.

The rest of the day has been filled with work and later, the semi-finals of the Dubai Tennis Open. A Greek (Tsitsipas) and a Canadian (Auger-Aliassime) will fight for the title tomorrow.

I have to record my disbelief at watching the exchange at the White House today, with the way the DT and the Vice President treated a guest after cornering him, even asking him to leave the premises. Diplomacy???
