Willow

Four if us parents did some more chopping in the playground this morning - taming the living willow fence and the hedge. And then replanting some of the willow. Let's see how long it lasts before the kids use it as swords or something!

B had a good idea and took some little willow trimmings into the classrooms where we'll let the kids see if they can get them to root in jam jars of water. Maybe then they'll finally appreciate that the 'sticks' are alive.

Cake and coffee and a natter in the Pastry Section afterwards, which was great.
