Handbags and Gladrags

Tom came with me for an appointment over in the North East. Nothing life threatening but I’ll be having more tests to get it all sorted over the next few months.
We did a food shop in Hexham on the way home.
I settled down to watch a film and eat chocolate. I was about to open a well deserved bottle of Prosecco when mum called. She’d left her handbag on the bus after being dropped off in Carlisle, after travelling from Inverness. The bus’s next stop was due at Tebay services. The driver left her bag at customer service for her to collect from Tebay. Fortunately it’s only 45 minutes from home.
Mum and I collected the bag, she was relieved. We had fish and chips for tea.
