Is it appropriate to cover stage one of dried duck with a duck tea towel?

Earlier, work, then bad family news sparked a scurry of travel plans, then worse family news brought tears. Aunty B died this morning, peacefully, with good friends by her bed, after a short illness.

There is a tricky dynamic around the arrangements, which Mr B is having deal with.

This evening, I find I can’t settle. Hence the duck preserving, and making a big pan of soup, and lots of other distractions. Hate not being all in one place dealing with this stuff.
