Swans

Pilates first thing, after letting the painters in. They'd mostly done by the time I got back. 

Afternoon walk by Henderson Row to Inverleith pond; here are the swan pair. Lots of tufted ducks merrily diving. Most of the gulls were on the sports field, along with a few oystercatchers. Tea from the Milk stand, watching amusing dogs. Also listening to random bagpipes; someone practicing and agonizingly not hitting the top notes cleanly ..

Back through the Botanics; the early rhododendrons are coming out. I did have a picture of some bright red flowers, but it wasn't quite in focus so you get swans. 8C, mostly sunny, West wind but not warm.
