It was a beautiful frosty morning beside the Loch of Lowes which is one of the notable places for watching ospreys.  They have not returned from their winter migration to Africa yet but we watched several different birds at the feeders but unfortunately did not see the pine martins which often take food from the bird feeders. The loch was very still with reflections disturbed only occasionally by various birds swimming while birds called from the trees and the noise of the drumming woodpeckers was prominent.
