Saturday, the first day of March

Today I went to the first of my theatre dates for 2025. We saw 4000 Miles by US playwright Amy Herzog. It was terrific.

Once back close to home, on this yet another very hot day, I visited a local pub with a beer garden and saw the person in my photo, wearing an OTT lot of stuff on his head. So there I was, thinking silly Saturday is sorted. Having only seen too late the message about the postponement of silly Saturday, and it being 10.30pm, I have no offering for Joe Tree Day. Still I think it's great that Blipfoto honours Joe each year. I'll know for 2026.

It's also the Sydny Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade tonight. Happy Mardi Gras, revellers!
