Thank you Joe!

It’s March and I believe it’s Joe Tree Day.  Thank you Joe and all who took over from him running Blipfoto. Can’t imagine life without it.

Here’s another picture of our back garden this morning  but showing some of the trees. In the foreground are the Magnolias, all showing buds. Perhaps a bit smaller than in some recent years at this stage but if it avoids early flowers at risk of frost it’s not a bad thing.  At the back in the middle is the yellow Hamamelis which has been flowering for two months now, always great to see.
To the left is our Oak tree which probably should be known as ‘son of Oak’ as the original was taken down by our neighbour. 
Out of sight next to the Oak is a Holly and a Rowan along the  back wall.

Still removing some leaves from these in the borders as I did a bit more garden tidying late morning. Chris came back from shopping with a new garden tidy bag for me. It stands on its own but isn’t very big so I soon had it full. The others I bought on line a couple of years ago are definitely too big so I have to be careful how much I put in. This one was fine for even me to carry! Perhaps a good measure of when to stop!

Another fine day, got two lots of washing out.

Not such a good night possibly because I slept most of the afternoon yesterday! I was coughing and sniffling around 3.00 am and struggled to get back to sleep. Couldn't get that debacle at the White House yesterday out of my mind!

My candidate for Silly Saturday ( thought it is officially next week) is Jude today who has mistaken the first of March for the first day of summer! Extra
