Spotlight

Despite the cold wind and grey clouds, B and I went for our walk today. As we got to our favourite viewpoint, we saw these rays of sunlight across the river Rhine. 

The big building spoiling the horizon line stands in a suburb of Mainz. It’s the headquarters of the German public-service TV station ZDF, which I worked for in various jobs (e.g. as reporter, environmental correspondent, documentary director and free-lance writer) for most of my professional career.
