Mohican Scone

There's a newly opened cafe in town so we thought we'd try it out this morning.  I always judge a cafe by the quality of the scones (cheese for me, fruit for W) so that's what we ordered.  I have to say that when it arrived, it looked unlike any scone I had seen before.  Tucked into a slot cut into the top was a large cheese crisp!  Very tasty but probably only 6/10 for the scone; a bit too big and quite doughy, and the butter was rock hard.  Worth a try though, and the 'Full English' that arrived on the table next to us looked rather good.

In other news (it being another slow blip day) I had the car washed for the first time in, oh, I can't remember when.  I'd quite forgotten it was that colour!
