Big school carnival

More than 12.000 of kids from kindergarten and primary schools of Basel have marched through the town center today. All have been dressed up in fantastic costumes they made on their own at school. This big school carnival takes place every five years. Otherwise small local carnivals  are organised in the neighbourhoods.
