The Great Pottery Throwdown

I'm a huge fan of the Pottery Throwdown and the weather forecast was really good so we decided to ditch the gym and headed for Stoke instead. 
We had a self guided tour around the museum first which I recommend as it was really interesting. I then made a porcelain flower with tuition from a lady who's been making them for over 40 years.
When we'd finished there, we headed down the road for a return trip to beautiful Trentham  Gardens.
It's quite expensive to get in but we had a lovely walk around the lake. In hindsight, I'd go later in the year as there weren't many flowers out but it was a really enjoyable day out.
