Communication
This is the Last Supper sculpture, an installation using over 50,000 keys from recycled keyboards, at present on show in Kendal Parish Church. It's large (it was last shown in Dorchester Abbey but is too large to be installed in most churches) and full of hidden features in the arrangement of the keys. The artist, Peter Barnes, says that as the Bible and the original painting of the Last Supper by da Vinci spoke to people using the latest modes of communication, so he has portrayed the scene using modern technology. The extras show further detail.
