fitment

Here my brother Scintilla is fitting the cowling to the firewall. There is a ton of hand fabrication involved, making the fiberglass parts of the canopy properly align with the fuselage and Lexan windscreen. Once all the hand fitment via grinding and sanding is complete, the reinforced canopy and windscreen will be bonded and riveted to the fuselage. There are large cables running from the parachute through the canopy attaching it to the fuselage. Should the parachute ever need to be deployed, the air-frame would be sacrificed to save the crew. I left most of the fine fitment sanding to Scintilla as it's his plane and I didn't want to be the one to futz it up....
