Bird walk
We joined the monthly bird count at Boston Manor Park early this morning. It was foggy, although it turned into a sunny day later. Thirty three species were spotted in an hour and a half by the more expert members of the group, who unlike me can identify a bird from its call or a fleeting fly-past. The bird I enjoyed most was a nuthatch, which we watched for a while. This is the view across the pond towards Boston Manor House.
