On and On it Goes . . .Mary Chapin Carpenter
This morning on my camera walk I was looking down at shells, bird tracks in the wet sand, reflections in the water. Zero fish came back to camp today. We had a longer swim and when the wind came up in the afternoon I lay in the tent and finished finished my book. I am a slow reader so that was pleasing to read a book in two days.
I took my transistor radio and had a brief listen to the news and learned Roberta Flack has died. Her single, The First Time Ever I Saw your Face was a big deal in my first year of Teachers College. Clint Eastwood used it in his flim Play Misty For Me which I also remeber being a gripping watch.
