Lyle Lovett and his Big Band

The Hult Center hosted Lyle Lovett last evening.

Kathy and I were thoroughly entertained by Mr. Lovett’s blend of bluegrass, country, and blues music.

The “Big Band” is composed of 12 players who have been playing with Mr. Lovett for 20+ years and/or are performer / song writer recording artists in their own right.

The gestalt or these performers pulling together produced music to get the listener right out of their seat.

Indeed we were totally blown away by 3 hours of non-stop kickbutt awesome fun music.

It's fun just to be in the Hult Center.

Lyle Lovett told the audience that if the Starship Enterprise had a Performing Arts Center aboard ship, I'd look like the Hult.

I agree; I love the place.
