Pinch Punch 1st of the Month...

The sunshine is finally out, and according to the app, it's sticking around for the next four days—woohoo!

We made the most of it by having lunch in the front room today. Sprouts absolutely loves this space, but we usually only use it in the evenings. Any chance he gets to lounge in there, he takes it! Here he is, soaking up the sun… it’s a dog's life.

It’s been a full-on day—washing, housework, meal prep—before heading out to pick up my cousin’s daughter from the train station. She’s the surprise for AE’s birthday weekend!

Speaking of AE, I’m a bit worried about her. She mentioned that she feels like she’s lost her sparkle. We put it down to the weather and dark nights, but even with family around tonight, she still seemed a bit flat. I can't help but wonder if there's something else going on… or maybe her age is finally catching up with her. She turns 83 on Tuesday. Hopefully, she'll perk up soon.
