Saturday…Little Munchkin
Rebecca, finally, accepted an offer for me to babysit. I arrived around 11 and they went off to Bicester for a few hours. As A didn’t have a great day yesterday they were a bit worried but she was fine.
They think she may have a cows milk intolerance and are just in the process of gradually changing her milk. She has quite bad eczema all over and constant dirty nappies and may account for some of her meltdowns.
When they left they said she would probably nap for half hour but she managed almost an hour and a half. Feed and playtime where we practised our parachuting skills. Out for a walk where she promptly fell asleep and continued her snooze when we got home for another hour and a bit. Another feed and then it wasn’t too long until mummy and daddy arrived home. Hopefully, I will be asked back again now ;-D
In other news, Sim and Nat have had a big week. They finally had an offer on their little home and hadn’t been looking properly until the time came. Their area was quite big, hoping to find something in the A3/M3 corridor. Last week I sent them one the other side of the M3…. Bit far was Sims response but then they made a viewing for today….. They also saw one in the next village along (a bit closer towards the M3) and went to view it on Thursday. They loved it! Put in an offer that was accepted! I have to say from the photos it looks fantastic. They will be about 15 minutes from Bex. There is a train station 2 minutes away for Sim to get to work in London, Nat drives into work and maybe 15/20 minute longer commute. I hope the next few months go smoothly for them. To top it all, last weekend O managed a poo on the loo. He’s had a bit of an issue with that side of toilet training but has now turned a corner. Woohoo! He got a big special treat for his achievement;-D))) What a week!
What I forgot to mention was that Mr C left his iPad at the inn we stayed in Herefordshire last week. There was a bit of a kerfuffle of how they could send it back so he left at 5 this morning to go and pick it up before driving onto Coventry for a a Crufts rehearsal. He will be shattered.
