Ali Baba
Overnight it was sub-zero but late morning the sun was out and a gorgeous day: We decided to get the cycles out - the first time for about three months - and cycle from home into Monmouth (South Wales, UK). So nice the weather we sat outside Costa Coffee (Other coffee shops are available) in the main street and enjoyed coffee in the sun.
This evening was the bi-annual local production of The Bishopswood Village Hall amateur dramatic production, this year being 'Ali Baba'. Our neighbour Shane had the big role of 'Mama', and so Mrs BB and I went with a couple of other neighbours to support him.
The photo' shows him (R) standing over a coffin as a sewn-up Cassim rises from the dead, watched by other cast members. The extra is of Shane in another drag outfit! His parts always involve women's clothes!!
We got home about 9.45pm and continued a few more drinks with our friends and neighbours until gone midnight. A full day!
