Day 4
Day 4 Gratitude/Walk/Photo Challenge
Today, I am grateful for pogies - a type of hand covering that kayakers use. I rarely get cold hands, but today on Loch Tay was baltic. The final mile or so was so much more comfortable wearing my Kosi Pogies
No photos of the pogies in use as it's impossible.
My walk today was meant to be the Corbenic Poetry Path (thank you to Petra Barber for the book). However, blethering to Niamh Macpherson and hearing about her dip in Loch Lomond sent me off in the wrong direction, so a quick wee walk when I got home had to suffice.
Photo from a chilly, but atmospheric Loch Tay. Not another soul on the water, but 3 kayakers appeared from nowhere as we drove off. Didn't recognise boats, cars, or toories, but if we ignored you, apologies!
Interesting paddle past the construction of the new Crannog Centre.
Thank you to Stoorie Bitters for accompanying me, making hot drinks, and feeding me pork pies!
It's long overdue for the Golden Girls to reassemble at Kenmore! Michelle Mclaren Jane Campbell Georgina Spence Karen Barton ...loads of fab memories.
