Tut Tut

It looks like rain.

Never before have I experienced a storm quite like this one.

Except perhaps in Rarotonga many years ago.

The lightning flashed and the thunder roared instantly, the rain turned to hail and then back to rain and for an hour it lashed down. The track outside became a series of fast-flowing rivulets gouging great swathes through the soft gravel.

And gradually it subsided and eventually passed.

But the rain is due to be with us for another fortnight.
