I met a Chippendale

As the weather was a bit grey today, and in search of a blip (Martin was working), I headed 20 minutes down the road to the Chippendale International School of Furniture, near Haddington.

Yes, named after the famous furniture maker of the 18th century and not the strippers (that’s not say there isn’t stripping of wood going on though).

Anyway, it’s an amazing place, and the tutor took five minutes (whilst some students were working away) to explain about the world famous school, and the different courses available.

The furniture examples were beautiful, as was the smell of different woods being worked on.

A lovely place to spend some time on a Sunday afternoon, a serene and tranquil environment for sure.

I hope you have had a similarly peaceful day.
