Gorbals

Lunch with V in her new flat overlooking the rose garden in the New Gorbals after which we set out to explore Richmond Park. This must be one of the least visited parks in Glasgow, known mostly for its decline and inaccessible paths. We were hugely surprised especially with the large former boating pond and its population of swans.
We ambled back along the river and through the Gorbals with its eclectic collection of murals and sculptures. Neither of us were clear about the story behind the one in the blip.
