The inherited shell

We “inherited” this shell from the previous owners of our house when we moved here nearly 18 years ago.  I hadn’t realised that it had moved to the edge of the patio from outside the greenhouse until I spotted it there in the sunshine this morning.  The garden seat behind it makes me think of sitting in the sunshine when it warms up a bit.  Unfortunately the sun didn’t last long and it turned into a dull cold afternoon
