The day seemed to slip away. Looked into changing electricity provider, fixed another shelf and impulsively headed to Keswick to look for a card again just before the shops closed but didn’t really find anything suitable. I went for a very late wander up Borrowdale and saw this fella on my way to up to see the Bowder Stone which I hadn’t visited for donkey’s years. The usual bouldering set were there.
Extra - For some reason, in the late light, the climbers chalk reminded me of aboriginal face paint and it seemed imbued with a timelessness that made me think of The Songlines.
