The World's Most Pointless Pedestrian Crossing? I noticed this, meandering around this lunchtime. There is a small, single car width access route into a small gated car park on the St. Vincent Street side of the old Abbey Life Building. It has a fully-fledged pedestrian crossing, presumably because it opens onto the junction with Elmbank Street.
