Storm damage

Water of Leith, Juniper Green

There were a number of large trees down along the Water or Leith. This one must have made some noise when it came down, even if there was nobody to hear it.  It had damaged the fence on the path, opposite where it once stood, in two places. There were also tree surgeons working high above the path trimming branches from tall trees further up the bank.

Two of us went to visit M, but otherwise a quiet day thinking about what it might be good to do when the weather gets better. Though the sun was strong it was still cold.
