Clouds over Camelback

Have been a bit intermittent with my blips over the last few days, so I thought I would try to get one in today, before I get sidetracked and forget. It's rainy in Phoenix so I experimented with some different shots of Camelback mountain, from my office window. None were all that great but I liked this result from one of the "Drama" settings in Snapseed.

Was at the ear doc. this am, for a follow-up evaluation and hearing test. Not much change. Next stop is an ear surgeon - consultation next Wednesday. He will likely try injecting cortisone into my inner ear. I've had lots of cortisone shots and usually respond well so here's hoping.

Part of the test today required me to repeat words - I could hear the voice and recognize it as speech, but couldn't interpret any of the words. That means a hearing aid won't help if the injection can't fix this. You'll all need to learn to speak into my good ear. It's driving K crazy and, of course, she thinks I'm playing up the scope of the problem. Nae sympathy.
