It’s a mystery…
The doorbell rang late morning and this little afternoon tea feast arrived in a beautiful presentation box (see extras) Well that was lunch sorted!
Absolutely delicious, and no we didn’t eat it all in one sitting. Kept half and had it with a bowl of soup for dinner :-)
What a wonderful gift. The only problem is there was no gift card so I have no idea who sent it!! I have a rough idea who it may have been but I’m afraid to ask incase it wasn’t her and she then thinks she should have sent it!! Dilemma!
After lunch I spent a very pleasant afternoon in the studio painting greetings cards, including a new card with a watercolour sketch of Loch Tay for my consultant. This time on the correct side of the card! (See extras)
After dinner I continued crocheting Jen’s throw. I am loving this yarn and size 15 hook. So chunky! I also had a conversation with my lovely friend M, whose daughter is having a baby in the summer. This is bringing much needed light back into her life after her eldest son (aged 28) committed suicide in 2019.
I’m going to crochet a pram blanket for the baby and we had a discussion about what the prospective parents might like and now I’m buzzing with ideas and can’t wait to get started. This will be an extra special one :-))
Watched an episode of Vera that we hadn’t seen, then as that finished Calendar Girls was just starting. Wonderful :-))
