S graduates
After quite an early start to move the car somewhere that it could stay for the day, we went to S’ college in Oxford so she could get her gown and official photos, and we had lunch there. We also listened to the graduation briefing, describing the bizarre ceremony favoured by Oxford, conducted in Latin, where the students only need to say Do Fidem. S got through it well and afterwards did the traditional throwing her cap in the air thing outside the Sheldonian, where the ceremony took place. Then we headed home.
An interesting and special day.
