Monday 3rd March 2025...

Tropical Cyclone Alfred is coming for Queensland on the East Coast of Australia...It's currently about 465 km Northeast of Brisbane and is expected to make landfall  on Thursday or Friday as a Category 1 or 2 Cyclone possibly at Redcliffe... The ocean is already rough with huge waves... We live where the blue dot is, so this is a bit too close for my liking... Cyclones can be unpredictable so we'll see what happens... I've spent lots of time over the past 2 days securing objects, pruning shrubs, checking storm water drains, move my pots of Roses closer to the front door to protect them from the wind.. Ruben was to go back to Uni on Wednesday but they sent out an email to say that the campus has shut down and that some classes will convert to online and others will be reschedule...
